Cable Car to Kasbah Oufella — Atlantic Panorama at 236m
Ride the Danialand Téléphérique — Morocco's first cable car — to the top of the hill overlooking Agadir. At the summit, the 16th-century Kasbah Oufella ruins offer a 360° panorama: the 10km crescent of Agadir beach, the Atlantic stretching to the horizon, the marina below, and the Atlas Mountains in the distance. Ticket included.
ViewsAgadir Beach — Golden Sand, Calm Atlantic, Free Time
One of Morocco's finest beaches — a long golden crescent with calm Atlantic waters perfect for swimming. Take a dip, sunbathe, walk the seaside promenade, or rent a sun lounger and just relax. The water is warmest May–October, but the beach is enjoyable year-round thanks to Agadir's 300+ days of sunshine.
BeachCrocopark — 300+ Nile Crocodiles in a Botanical Garden
Not your average animal park. Crocopark combines a botanical garden with over 300 Nile crocodiles in naturalistic habitats — walking paths wind through exotic plants and cactus gardens past crocodiles of all sizes. Educational, safe, and a favourite with families. Entrance included.
WildlifeSouk El Had — One of Morocco's Largest Markets
Plunge into the maze of Souk El Had — over 3,000 stalls selling spices, argan oil, Berber textiles, leather goods, fresh produce, and handicrafts. This is the real thing — local market culture without the tourist crowds of Marrakech's medina. Great for souvenirs and authentic Moroccan goods.
CultureMarina Seafood Lunch — Fresh Catch, Yacht Views
Agadir's modern marina is lined with seafood restaurants where the catch is served the same day. Grilled fish, prawn tagine, or a fresh fish platter — eaten with views of luxury yachts and the Atlantic. Lunch is at your own expense, giving you the freedom to choose where and what to eat.
FoodArgan Goats-in-Trees — The Classic Photo Stop
En route to Agadir, the road passes through argan groves where goats genuinely climb the trees to eat the fruit. It's one of Morocco's most photographed scenes — and it happens naturally. We stop for photos on the way. A great opener to the day.

Your driver collects you from your Marrakech hotel at 7:00 AM. The drive to Agadir takes about 3 hours via the A7 highway — modern, smooth, and scenic. The landscape shifts from the arid Haouz plain through argan groves as you approach the coast. We stop for a coffee break en route, and for the famous goats-in-argan-trees photo opportunity — a uniquely Moroccan sight.
On arrival in Agadir, head straight to the Danialand Téléphérique cable car. The 7–10 minute ride takes you to 236 metres above the city — the Kasbah Oufella, a 16th-century hilltop fortress. At the top: a 360° panorama of the 10km Agadir beach crescent, the Atlantic Ocean, the marina, and the Atlas Mountains on the horizon. Walk the Kasbah ruins, read the famous inscription — "Fear God and honour the King" — that survived the devastating 1960 earthquake. Ticket included.
Descend and drive to Souk El Had — one of the largest markets in North Africa. Over 3,000 stalls selling spices, argan oil, saffron, textiles, leather goods, ceramics, and fresh produce. This is where Agadir's residents shop — authentic, buzzing, and excellent for souvenirs at local prices.
Head to Agadir's famous beachfront. Walk the seaside promenade, sunbathe on the golden sand, or take a swim in the calm Atlantic. The beach stretches for 10km — plenty of space. Sun loungers and parasols available to rent. Bring your swimsuit.
Stroll to the Agadir Marina — a modern waterfront lined with seafood restaurants, cafés, and luxury yachts. Choose your own lunch: fresh grilled fish, prawn tagine, or a mixed seafood platter. Lunch is at your own pace and expense — sit as long as you want.
Before leaving Agadir, visit Crocopark — a botanical garden and crocodile habitat just outside the city. Walk through paths lined with exotic plants and cactus gardens while observing over 300 Nile crocodiles in safe, naturalistic enclosures. Educational exhibits explain crocodile biology and conservation. Entrance included.
Begin the ~3-hour return drive to Marrakech. A good time to rest, scroll through photos, and reflect on the day. Hotel drop-off by approximately 7:00 PM — still time for a late dinner in the medina if you want.

"We had an amazing day! The cable car was absolutely breathtaking — the views from the top were stunning and our driver made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy them and take photos. Crocopark was a real highlight, fun and educational. Ending the day at the beach was the perfect finish. Smooth, well-organised, never felt rushed."
"A wonderful day trip. We visited Crocopark, the Kasbah via cable car, and spent time at the beach and marina. Fantastic impressions! Because it was just our family, the driver gave us all his attention, told us interesting things, and showed us many places. The most interesting trip of our Morocco holiday."
"Worth the early start. The drive is long but comfortable and scenic — especially the goats in the argan trees! Agadir itself was lovely: the beach is gorgeous, the seafood at the marina was incredible, and the souk was much less hectic than Marrakech. Our driver Nour was professional and friendly throughout."
"The kids absolutely loved Crocopark — they were fascinated by the crocodiles and the botanical garden. The cable car ride was exciting for all of us, and the panoramic views were out of this world. Great value for what you get, especially with the tickets being already included."
"Coming from Marrakech, Agadir felt like a completely different country — modern, relaxed, and breezy. The beach was pristine and the marina was gorgeous. We had a fantastic grilled fish lunch overlooking the yachts. If you're spending a few days in Marrakech and want a change of scenery, this is the perfect escape."
