Quad biking in Marrakech is one of the city's most popular adventure activities — and at €39/person, one of the best value. You ride your own fully automatic quad bike (ATV) for 2 hours through the Palmeraie, Marrakech's vast palm grove oasis. The terrain mixes sandy tracks, rocky paths, dry riverbeds, and open countryside. A midway stop at a Berber village for mint tea and crepes. No licence needed, no experience required — the quads are automatic and you get a safety briefing before riding. 1 quad per person (not shared). Morning (09:00) or afternoon (14:00) sessions, daily. Hotel pickup and all safety gear included. Minimum age 16.

1 Quad Per Person — Not Shared
Many Marrakech operators double up — 2 people, 1 quad. With us, every rider gets their own machine. You control the speed, the steering, and the experience. This is a ride, not a passenger seat.
Key DifferenceFully Automatic — Zero Experience Needed
No gears, no clutch, no licence required. The ATVs are fully automatic — throttle and brake only. A 15-minute safety briefing with a practice run gets you comfortable before hitting the trails. First-timers consistently rate this 5 stars.
Beginners2 Hours Actual Riding — Not Including Transfer
When we say 2 hours, we mean 2 hours on the quad. Some operators count the hotel transfer and briefing in their "duration." Our riding time is riding time.
HonestPalmeraie — 20 Minutes from Your Hotel
The Palmeraie palm grove is the closest off-road terrain to Marrakech — just a 20-minute transfer. That means more riding, less sitting in a van. 13,000 hectares of sandy tracks, rocky paths, and dry riverbeds under a canopy of palm trees.
CloseBerber Village — Tea, Crepes & Culture
Midway through the ride, stop at an authentic Berber village. Sit in the shade, drink freshly brewed mint tea, and eat homemade crepes. A genuine cultural moment — not a tourist stage.
CultureFull Safety Gear — Helmet, Goggles, Hood
Everything provided: helmet, goggles, hood. Expert guide rides with your group the entire time. Well-maintained quads checked before every session.

How the Day Unfolds
Because it's private, every stop is adjustable. All days open — click any header to collapse.
Your driver collects you from your Marrakech hotel or riad (or nearest accessible point). A quick 20-minute drive north to the Palmeraie — Marrakech's vast palm grove.
At the quad base, you're fitted with a helmet, goggles, and hood. Your guide explains the controls — throttle on the right, brake on the left. The quads are fully automatic, so there are no gears to worry about. A quick practice circuit in the yard gets you comfortable before heading out.
Follow your expert guide out of the base and into the Palmeraie's off-road trails. The terrain is varied — sandy stretches between palm trees, hard-packed rocky tracks, dry riverbed crossings, and open countryside. The pace is set by your guide based on the group's comfort level. Experienced riders get faster routes; beginners stay smooth and steady.
Midway through, pull up at an authentic Berber village. Park the quads, remove your helmet, and sit in the shade. You're served traditional mint tea and homemade crepes — a welcome break and a genuine cultural moment. Take photos, chat with the locals, and catch your breath before the second half of the ride.
Back on the quads for the return loop — a different route through the palm grove. Wider tracks, more speed, and panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains on the horizon. The terrain opens up towards the end, giving you a real sense of freedom before returning to the base.
After the ride, clean up at the base (dust is part of the fun). Your driver takes you back to your Marrakech hotel — about 20 minutes. Total experience: ~2.5 hours including transfers. Plenty of time for lunch or your next activity.

"The staff were incredibly friendly and took great care of me and my son. Even though I struggled with the quad at first, one of the team kindly helped me. The trip was fantastic — breathtaking views and a genuine cultural experience at the village stop."
"We ventured much deeper into the palm grove than I expected — the views were absolutely incredible. Having our own quad each made it so much better than sharing. The mint tea in the Berber village was a lovely touch. Great value at €39."
"Never ridden a quad before — was nervous but the briefing put me at ease. The quads are automatic so there's nothing to learn. By 10 minutes in I was having the time of my life. The terrain is varied and exciting. Best thing we did in Marrakech!"
"We were a group of 6 friends and this was the highlight of our Marrakech trip. The guide was brilliant — fast for those who wanted speed, patient with the slower riders. The palm grove landscape is stunning and the Berber village stop was authentic. Highly recommend."
